Porsche Cayenne GTS (Mk2)

Introduction to the Porsche Cayenne GTS (Mk2)

Porsche introduced the Cayenne GTS model at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show. It positioned into the range between the S model and the high powered Turbo vehicle. It is powered by the same 4.8litre engine but delivers 405bhp.

The GTS is the first Cayenne to be equipped with the Porsche Active Suspension (PASM) combined with steel springs which is a configuration that, until now, was reserved for Porsche’s sports cars.

The ride height is reduced by 24mm compared to the S and the V8 engine gets a 20bhp increase over the S model. Visually, the GTS wears the same front and rear PU’s as the Cayenne Turbo. It’s also equipped with 21 inch wheels and there are two new colors exclusive to it badge which are GTS Red and Nordic Gold Metallic. A six speed manual is also standard equipment, with Tiptronic S optionally available.
